When it comes to covering the spa and showcasing trends in the industry, the International Spa Association’s annual conference and expo is one of the best. This year’s 18^th conference will take place in Las Vegas November 10-13. Highlights include keynote addresses from actor Sidney Poitier, this year’s recipient of the Alex Szekely Humanitarian Award, motivational speaker and author Jean Chatzky, and photographer and author, Dewitt Jones.

The conference, which is known for being educationally-driven, also hosts a variety of Professional Development Sessions on a topics including the Spa Industry, Leadership & Management, Sales & Marketing, Customer Service and Sustainability. Seminars within those topics include “green” spas, personifying brand image, maximizing profitability, a look at spa design trends, building the best team, and the four keys to wellness.
