When Tina Morschauser and Gretchen Brown moved their business to a new, larger location in 2005, they gained 1,300 square feet and the chance to redesign everything and build from the ground up. They took advantage of that, designing a spa that appeals to both men and women. They also wanted to cater to the high-end, earth-conscious client, which they did by incorporating natural elements of wood, metal and water, feng shui, and plants and water features in all five treatment rooms. One of the most successful parts of their salon and spa is the manicure and pedicure room. Set off from the rest of the adjoining areas, the area plays host to a variety of events.

“Due to the intimacy of it, we have tons of bridal parties and baby showers,” says Morschauser. “Every Friday from the middle of May to the end of September, it’s booked. The mani/pedi room produces the highest revenue per square foot in our entire location.”
